Win the chance to open for Paolo Nutini at Edinburgh’s Hogmanay

Want your band to open for Paolo Nutini at Edinburgh’s Hogmanay?

A very special competition has just been launched which will see the winner opening for Paolo Nutini on either the Night Afore Concert on the 30th December or the Concert in the Gardens on the 31st of October. They’re looking for an unsigned band from anywhere in Scotland (which obviously includes Dumfries & Galloway, so if you’re interested you should definitely give it a go!). Two winners will be selected by an online public vote made up of 5 finalists. The shortlisted bands that will go onto the public vote stage will be selected by Paolo Nutini himself.

The winner shall receive:
• A 15-20min opening slot at one of the headline Paolo Nutini shows at Edinburgh’s Hogmanay
• An artist pass and ticket for one (1) guest each who must be at least eighteen (18) years old.
• £250 per band to cover expenses to attend the show.

Entries close on Friday 25 November at 5pm. Your band MUST be available to play on Fri 30 Dec AND Sat 31 Dec. Each winner will only play one of the shows. All band members must be over the age of 18.

The competition is being presented by Edinburgh’s Hogmanay, Forth 1 and The List.
