One of Dumfries & Galloway’s newest musicians will be launching her debut EP next month at The Stove in Dumfries.
Alix Apples (real name Alix Adair) is ready to release her EP – named “Them Apples” – and is very much looking forward to performing it live on Friday 7th April 2017 from 7pm.
She told Small Town Sounds, “It’s been such a long time coming and so much effort has been put into it by myself and those who collaborated. I cannot wait for everyone to see the fruition of all that hard work.“
Local act Bogle Mufty will be opening the gig and accompanying Alix during her set. They are one of several collaborators that appear on the EP, a list which also includes Royal Conservatoire of Scotland cellist Joanne Bertram; Popular Music student Elizabeth McKay; and aspiring singer Jana Rysava.
Admission is free, but donations will be appreciated and physical copies of the CD will be on sale on the night.
