Eden Festival unveil their headline performers for 2018!
Scotland’s most eclectic festival will be celebrating its 10 year anniversary in style this summer with highlights from the last decade along with new additions to the Garden. Acts tipping the bill include Groove Armada, Submotion Orchestra and DJ Super Hans (Peep Show).
Eden Festival will be returning to the Raehill Meadows in Dumfries and Galloway on June 7 -10th, hosting twelve different stages with over 300 performers. A long established favourite on the Scottish festival calendar, the 10 year anniversary promises to be a highlight of the summer with a celebration worthy of its national acclaim.
Here’s a bit more on the acts that have just been announced:
Groove Armada are an English electronic music duo, composed of Andy Cato and Tom Findlay. They achieved chart success with their singles “I See You Baby” and “Super Stylin”. For nearly two decades Groove Armada has been established as one of the planet’s best loved and biggest selling dance acts, mixing across genres and styles with ease.
Since their inception in 2009, the genre-defying Submotion Orchestra have moved seamlessly between deep electronica, jazz, soul and ambient downtempo, mesmerising audiences from Iceland to India. Earth-shaking bass and drums combine with lush keyboard and trumpet textures to create the perfect backdrop for the fragile beauty of Ruby Wood’s vocals, and the celestial effects of producer Ruckspin.
