13 Crowes release debut EP!
Newly signed Annan/Dumfries band 13 Crowes have just released their brand new debut EP through German label, Homebound Records. The EP will be the result of months of hard work by the band who only launched themselves live a few months ago.
The EP, which is called The Dividing Line, will be digitally released on Friday 16th September 2016, with an official launch gig taking place at The Venue in Dumfries the following Friday. The first 50 people through the door that have bought advance tickets will receive a download card which will get them the EP for free.
Lead singer of 13 Crowes, Cammy Black, said of the gig, “On Friday 23rd September the EP will have been out a week so it’s not really a launch as such, just a chance to play some songs for people when there’s some tunes out there that they’ll know! Up until now they’ve not heard anything before they’ve came to see us live. Plus people will get to hear some of the songs from the full album due out in the winter – they sound ace! Some of the best tunes I’ve ever worked on. We’ve got our Annan pals The Sheepwagon playing. They’ve been around for years but last time I saw them just recently was the best I’ve heard them sound! And The Abstracts too, they’ve some cool shit just now! Fiddle player n that! Sounds class. Two very different bands so gives the night plenty of texture – looking forward to hearing them both! This is probably our last gig for a couple of months as we’re getting straight back to recording the full album after this then heading to Germany. Always love playing The Venue! Can’t wait man!”.
Tickets for the gig are available in advance from Barnstorm Records in Dumfres and via the 13 Crowes Big Cartel site. They are priced at £5, or £7 on the door.
